The Bridal Edit

Your wedding morning should feel calm, joyful, and full of excitement.

It’s such a big moment, and my role is to make sure your experience is smooth and stress-free, so you can focus on enjoying every second. From creating your bridal hairstyle and supporting you with dressing, I’ll be there to make sure everything comes together seamlessly.

Bridal Trial

Gives us the chance to explore ideas, talk through your outfit and jewellery, plus preview your dream look before the big day. It also means your wedding morning will feel even more relaxed because we already know exactly what we’re creating.

💡while many brides like to keep one signature look for the wedding day, pre-wedding events are a great chance to try something different and have fun with your styling.

If You Haven’t Had a Trial

Don’t worry at all — plenty of my brides choose not to book a trial.

Although trials can be really helpful, they’re not essential. Before your wedding day, we’ll go through everything in detail so I understand exactly what you want.

Sharing clear inspiration photos is always helpful, especially alongside photos of your outfit, jewellery, dupatta or veil. This helps me create a hairstyle that feels right for you and your overall look.

Timings & Morning Flow

One thing I always recommend is allowing plenty of time in the morning. A relaxed schedule makes such a difference and I’ll support you by coordinating this with you.

Here’s a general guide:

Hair, Makeup & Dressing - allow around 2.5 hours

Hair & Dressing Only - allow around 1.5 – 2 hours

From experience, having hair and makeup overlap (or starting with makeup first) works really well. It gives enough time for dressing, jewellery placement and any final touch-ups without everything feeling rushed.

Helpful Tips for Your Wedding Morning

  • Hair prep: Wash and fully dry your hair the night before unless we’ve discussed something different. If your hair tends to get frizzy, smoothing it beforehand can really help. Don’t worry about styling it perfectly, I’ll take care of the rest.

  • Keeping everything ready: Try to keep your outfit, shoes, jewellery, and accessories in one place. It makes the morning feel much more organised and also helps your photographer capture those lovely detail shots.

  • Choose the right space: A bright, clutter-free area with plug sockets nearby is ideal for hairstyling. Natural light is always a bonus too.

  • Getting ready outfit:  A robe or button-up shirt works best so you can get changed without disturbing your hair or makeup.

  • Steam in advance: Steam outfits the night before to avoid heat and humidity around your hair on the day which can cause frizz.

  • Final touches: I’ll stay with you until you’re fully ready, that includes your veil/dupatta placement and any final adjustments.

If a calm, stress-free start to your wedding day is exactly what you’ve been dreaming of, I’d love to be part of it.
